The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) celebrated the global customer service week in style by meeting with pilots and flight operations officers at Julius Nyerere International Airport. The event took place at the Briefing Office and was officiated by the Director of Air Navigation Services, Eng. Flora Alphonce.
Giving her statement to mark the customer service week, Eng Alphonce pointed out that TCAA is ready to receive both positive and negative feedback from its customers.
Airing his views, Captain Mackiyu Kajwangya from Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA) congratulated TCAA for doing a very good job. Captain Kajwangya, who has over 20 years of work experience as a pilot, said he has not seen a problem with the authority's services.
On his part, Mohamed Amani, Flight Operations Officer from AURIC AIR, said that the authority's services are good, and flight permits are issued on time regardless of the time of the day. He remarked that one can get assistance even at midnight, just by making one phone call. He was also impressed with the improvements in the portal system, where services have improved significantly.
During the week, organized by the TCAA's Public Relations and Communication Unit, several stakeholders, including TANAPA, Auric Air, Coastal Aviation, and others, were served. The theme of this year's customer service week was 'Above and Beyond,' focusing more on customer satisfaction.
