The Director General of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Mr. Salim Msangi, has officially launched the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Training and Examination Center at the National Institute of Transport (NIT).

Dr. Prosper Mgaya expressed gratitude to the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania under the leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for supporting the institute’s progress. He attributed the achievement to strong collaboration between the government, TCAA, and other aviation stakeholders.

The facility will enable engineers and aviation professionals to obtain internationally recognized certifications, boosting employment opportunities and technical expertise in the country.
