TCAA HOSTS SPECIAL IFTAR FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has organized a special Iftar dinner for students with special needs from Mzambarauni Primary School. This event not only brought joy to the students but also underscored the role of the aviation sector in fostering social inclusion and community support.

Held at TCAA’s headquarters in Dar es Salaam, the gathering brought together key aviation stakeholders and officials from the authority. The students had the opportunity to share an Iftar meal and receive gifts, symbolizing care and solidarity from the wider community.

Speaking at the event, TCAA Director General, Mr. Salim Msangi, emphasized the authority’s commitment to not only regulating the aviation sector but also engaging in meaningful community initiatives. He highlighted the importance of supporting children with special needs, stating that TCAA is dedicated to being a socially responsible institution.

Attorney General, Hon. Hamza Johari, echoed this sentiment, stressing the importance of unity and compassion in society. He noted that such initiatives provide hope for children and strengthen social bonds.

For the students of Mzambarauni Primary School, the event was more than just a meal. It was an opportunity to feel valued and included. Some expressed excitement about meeting aviation leaders and learning more about the industry’s opportunities.

Through this initiative, TCAA has demonstrated that aviation is not just about flights and regulations but also about being an integral part of the community, fostering inclusivity, and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
