TCAA has participated in the 15th Annual Joint Transport Sector Review (JTSR) Meeting held in Dar es Salaam.

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Works and Transport in collaboration with stakeholders. The Minister of Works and Transport Hon. Prof. Makame Mbarawa officiated the event, with him other dignitaries present were Resident Manager African Development Bank (AfDB) in Tanzania Office Dr. Patricia Laverley, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works and Transport Gabriel Migire together with Chief Executive of Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTFA), Adv. Flory Okanju.

Director General TCAA, Hamza Johari was represented by the Director of Legal Services, Ms. Maria Memba who also presented paper on the TCAA performance for the financial year of 2020/21, whereas she elaborated that, the Authority has continued to carry out its duties in accordance with various laws and guidelines in ensuring the Tanzania airspace is remaining safe and service providers work in a friendly and safe environment for the development of the Aviation sector in the country.

This one-day meeting attracted various stakeholders in the transportation sector, whereby serious discussions triggered by the presentations took place. Also participants had the opportunity showcase their activities through exhibitions.
