Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – In a milestone step toward enhancing collaboration and financial efficiency in the aviation sector, four major institutions — the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA), Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA), and Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) — have signed a landmark Shared Revenue Distribution Agreement.
The agreement was signed today by the heads of the respective institutions: Acting Director General of TCAA, Mr. Daniel Malanga; Director General of TAA, Mr. Abdul Mombokaleo; Director General of TMA, Dr. Ladislaus Chang’a; and Managing Director of ATCL, Eng. Peter Ulanga.
The agreement aims to establish a unified framework for revenue sharing among the four entities. This system is expected to streamline financial transactions, improve transparency, enhance accountability, and ensure the equitable distribution of revenues generated within the aviation sector.
This initiative is in direct response to the directive of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, who has underscored the need for public institutions to work together through integrated systems. The goal is to boost efficiency, eliminate bureaucracy, and deliver better services to Tanzanians.
By entering this shared agreement, the institutions are set to strengthen strategic partnerships, ensure timely data sharing, and foster seamless collaboration to drive the sustainable growth of the aviation industry in the country.
