As part of the International Workers’ Day (May Day) celebrations, the Second Vice President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Hon. Hemed Suleiman Abdulla, visited the pavilion of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) during the ongoing exhibitions held in Kizimkazi, Unguja.

Hon. Hemed was welcomed and briefed by Mr. Mohamed Ali Mohamed, Civil Aviation Manager (CAM) at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA), who provided an overview of TCAA’s core functions and major projects. These include overseeing aviation safety, coordinating air traffic control services, and implementing modern technologies to boost efficiency and foster the growth of the aviation sector across Tanzania and Zanzibar.

The Second Vice President commended TCAA’s commitment to improving air transport services and encouraged the Authority to sustain its momentum in enhancing service delivery for the benefit of the nation and its citizens.

The May Day exhibitions bring together government institutions and private sector stakeholders to showcase their services and achievements in support of national development.
